Requirements Clarification & Assessment

1. Understanding the Change

   • Nature of the Change: Identify what specific modifications are being made to the search bar. Is it a UI change, algorithmic adjustment, or a feature addition like auto-suggestions?

   • Stakeholder Impact: Determine who is affected by the change. Is it end-users, advertisers, or internal stakeholders?

2. Contextual Setup

   • User Environment: Where is the search bar located? On a home page, within a specific app, or another platform?
   • Current Performance Metrics: Gather baseline data on current search bar performance metrics like click-through rate (CTR), average search duration, and conversion rates.

3. Constraints and Limitations

   • Technical Constraints: Identify any limitations in the existing system that may affect the implementation or measurement of the change.
   • Time and Resources: Assess the timeline for implementing the change and the resources available for testing and evaluation.
