2673. Make Costs of Paths Equal in a Binary Tree

Bottom-Up Approach with Cost Balancing

  1. Initialize a variable totalIncrements to store the total number of increments needed.
  2. Iterate over the nodes from the last node up to the second node in pairs of two (sibling nodes).
  3. For each pair of sibling nodes, calculate the difference in their costs.
  4. Increment totalIncrements by the absolute value of the difference.
  5. Update the cost of the parent node to be the sum of its current cost and the maximum cost of its two children.
  6. Continue this process until all sibling pairs have been processed.
  7. Return totalIncrements as the result.
